The Ana Edit Issue #11: My Favorite Amazon Purchases

My Favorite Amazon Purchases

Ana’s Corner

By far, the highlight of my week was my new puppy, Luna, arriving. She is a teacup Maltese, and she is the most precious little mammal my eyes have ever beheld, bar my other puppy, Muffin. She is smaller than I presumed, weighing in at a minuscule .8 kg or slightly under 2 pounds. Her low weight is a reason to be cautious as she is fragile, so I have been worrying about my other dog Muffin playing rough as he tends to do. Thus far, he has been relatively well behaved; hopefully, this trend will continue. Luna, whose full name is Luna Celene, is partly the inspiration for this week’s subject. As I was shopping for little trinkets to please her, I took a gander at all my purchases on Amazon and realized two things. First, I have an addiction of epic proportions. Second, in the cornucopia of goods I have bought, I have discovered a few gems that I feel are wonderful gifts for a loved one or yourself. I justify shopping as I do, not to say you should follow in my footsteps, by reminding myself of inflation and how if I were to keep $200 in my pocket, it would not be worth $200 for long. Yes, there is the option of investing, and there is an interest rate on your money, but let us not dwell on that for too long.

Pictured above is Luna in her natural seraphic state. Is she not the best thing you have payed eyes upon today?

Amazon Favorites

The way I have presented the objects in this blog post is by linking my Amazon page lists. Please feel free to peruse the lists and match my descriptions with the images provided.

Food Finds

  1. Nuts N More Spread.

Before going vegan, this was my favorite protein spread I had ever tried. While other protein spreads taste as if they are knock offs of the traditional sugar laden- spreads, this one tastes as scrumptious as Nutella. While not compromising taste, it packs 9-11 grams of protein depending on what flavor you purchase. I highly recommend this for anyone who tends to overindulge in spreads or simply wants to build muscle without forgoing decadent treats.

  2. Kos Organic Acai.

Açaí has been all the rage since 2017, and long before that in other places, but I had found it difficult to replicate the bowls made at the local vendor in my own home. That was until I found this Açaí blend. By adding this to my blender along with a few other frozen fruits to thicken the consistency, I can and do create bowls that rival the ones found for upwards of $10 at a juice shop.

Animal Accoutrements and Accessories

  1. Pink Dog Bed.

This bed is offered in a wide assortment of colors, but I purchased the pink for Luna and the adjacent blue for Muffin. The size is ideal for smaller dogs, and the material is plush so they can rest comfortably.

  2. Dog Carriage.

Dogs are meant to roam freely every so often, but sometimes it is best to keep them more controlled. For instance, if I have a spare moment to take my puppies out, but during rush hour, I will keep them in a carriage to keep an eye out and ensure nothing perilous occurs.

  3. Pooper Scooper.

Need I explain why this is a worthy purchase? Unless you relish in removing dog poop in traditional ways, this is worth the cost you bear.

Tantalizing Technology

  1. Wireless Speaker.

Although I may not appear as the type of person to blast music until the heavens can hear it, I most certainly am. I will not promise this is akin to the volume you can achieve with a large speaker. It has the best size-to-volume ratio in that for such a transportable device, it packs quite the punch.

  2. IPad Stand.

This is superfluous, but I do not regret buying it. When you use multiple devices in a day, a change of position can provide a novel experience, in my opinion.

  3. Laptop Stand.

This is perfect for online students who, on occasion, track their work into bed. While we rest comfortably, the view from your laptop is often not ideal. Luckily, the laptop stand eliminates the typical issues that arise.

  4. Selfie Stick

. I am far from an influencer, but I feel as though I am one when I take my own photoshoots with this selfie stick that allows users to prop it up, adjust the length as they sees fit, and begin to take photos using the self-timer feature on devices.

  5. Apple Pencil Grip.

The Apple Pencil is sleek, sophisticated, and ingenious. The one thing it is not, comfortable. The rough feel of the pencil between my fingers is disconcerting when I use it for schoolwork, sometimes for hours on end. There is a myriad of grips out there that eradicate this malaise, but I enjoy the look and thickness of this one.

Living The Lifestyle

  1. Yoga Mat.

When I first perused the internet seeking a yoga mat, I discovered ones that ranged from $50 to $250, daft prices to say the least. After scouring the internet looking for a mat that balances quality and price, I found this one. The size is suitable for small spaces, the material is soft, and the durability is on point.

  2. 32 Ounce Water Bottle.

One of my goals in 2020 was to consume 64 ounces of water. Rather than buy a water bottle that large, I decided to buy one half the size in order to make it more palatable, if you will. For some reason, having to complete two of these is less daunting than completing one 64 ounce portion. Anyway, even if your goals are not as drastic as mine, it is essential to forgo plastic water bottles in favor of a reusable one for the environment and your wallet.

  3. Wekity Toothbrush Holder.

My bathroom is incessantly a mess, so being able to free up some terrain is cardinal. This toothbrush holder not only dispenses toothpaste out but has additional room for storing cups that can hold small trinkets. I use the corresponding cups for storing scrunchies, lash serum, and other related objects.

Conclusion

In the 21st century, consumerism is rampant in every facet of life. While it is important to exercise prudence, not live above one’s means, and adopt a frugal mindset, sometimes we succumb to our innermost desires and splurge. The aforementioned items and the blog post in its entirety are to prevent readers from wasting the opportunity to indulge. By no means must you buy any or all of these items; they are simply recommendations if you are interested. If you wish to share any of your favorites, fill out the form below. If not, I bid you adieu.
